Mark is CEO of Sqrrl. Mark brings 20 years of operational experience growing technology companies. Prior to Sqrrl, Mark was SVP and Business Unit Manager at F5 where he ran worldwide operations for the Traffix Business Unit. Prior to F5 Mark was VP Operations / COO at Acopia Networks (Acquired by F5). Earlier in his career Mark held various management positions at Netcore Systems (acquired by Tellabs), Shiva Corporation (Acquired by Intel) and Sun Microsystems (Acquired by Oracle). Mark has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institution of Technology.

Adam Fuchs

As the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Sqrrl, Adam Fuchs is responsible for ensuring that Sqrrl is leading the world in Big Data Infrastructure technology. Previously at the National Security Agency, Adam was an innovator and technical director for several database projects, handling some of the world’s largest and most diverse data sets. He is a co-founder of the Apache Accumulo project. Adam has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Washington and has completed extensive graduate-level course work at the University of Maryland.

Ely Kahn is a co-founder and VP of Business Development for Sqrrl. Previously, Ely served in a variety of positions in the Federal Government, including Director of Cybersecurity at the National Security Staff in White House, Deputy Chief of Staff at the National Protection Programs Directorate in the Department of Homeland Security, and Director of Risk Management and Strategic Innovation in the Transportation Security Administration. Before his service in the Federal Government, Ely was a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton. Ely has a BA from Harvard University and a MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ari is VP of Field Operations at Sqrrl responsible for both the pre and post sales organizations. Prior to Sqrrl Ari has spent the past 23 years involved in field operations leadership positions across many successful and diverse technology startups that include Vertica (acquired by HP), Acopia Networks (acquired by F5), ArrowPoint Communications (IPO, acquired by cisco), Prominet Corporation (acquired by Lucent) and Wellfleet Communications (IPO, merged with SynOptics to become Bay Networks). Ari has a B.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University.

As VP of Sales, Paul is responsible for leading a high performance sales team, which is accountable for revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction. Paul has more than 20 years of experience growing markets and expanding channels. A respected alumnus of the Boston startup community, Paul joined Sqrrl from Acopia Networks (acquired by F5 Networks), where he was the District Sales Manager Eastern & Federal Regions and developed the necessary reseller and distribution partners, and strategic alliances to ensure rapid revenue growth and team build-out. Prior to Acopia Networks, Paul held the key sales post at Storigen Systems, InfoLibria and Lucent Technologies. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in MIS, Quantitative Methods and Business Management from Babson College and a M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Bentley College.

Brien Wheeler

Brien Wheeler is Sqrrl's VP of Engineering. Brien has 20 years of experience creating commercial software as well as building and leading teams within numerous startups, including Raptor Systems, Authentica, Liquid Machines, and Currensee. Brien combines a hands-on awareness of technology with a strong business sensibility to help connect Engineering to the rest of the company and to its customers. Brien has a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a M.S. in Computer Science, both from Case Western Reserve University.

Luis Maldonado

As VP of Products, Luis is responsible for Sqrrl's product strategy, management and marketing efforts. Luis has been designing, building and productizing enterprise software products for over 20 years. With a keen focus on creating business value from large-scale computing systems, Luis has shaped technologies that include middleware, cloud computing, security and big data into business-driven must have products. Prior to Sqrrl, Luis led the product management efforts for HP's Vertica business unit and previously held product leadership positions for companies such as Akamai, Progress Software and Imprivata. Luis holds a B.S. in computer science and engineering from MIT.
